Primary Weapon — Helicopter Blades

Though they have never been used for murder, the blades can still kill.

Primary Power — Excellent Navigation

Due to his constant exploration, Helibee is exceptionally good at navigating around NSW even in the rare occasions when his navigation equipment fails. For areas he is less familiar with flying through, he is able to quickly identify geographical features that help him navigate these areas.

Biography

Helibee is one member of a class of helicopter manufactured by Aircraft, an aviation-based division of PumpCo Engineering, to provide emergency transport for hospitals and Surf Life Saving organisations. Note: PumpCo Engineering is a subsidiary of PumpCo, a company owned by Pumpkin Man. Both companies are from a different universe.

This helicopter was given the name Helibee after he (the helicopter) demanded to be painted in a black and yellow livery. I’m not sure what made him admire bees, but the livery does look nice on him.

Although he was manufactured for emergency rescues, he has always held a greater interest in photography and admiring the views he encounters as he flies. Often, he would leave his hangar when he wasn’t needed to explore the scenery around him. He particularly liked going to lakes because the wind from his rotors created cool ripples in the water. Despite Helibee not telling them, his operators knew exactly what he was doing; after all, the locations of every helicopter were constantly tracked and recorded.

By 12 May 2024, enough helicopters had been manufactured that Helibee was no longer needed for emergency rescues and, based on his known secret, he was transferred to taking aerial photographs for mapping services and archives. His flying strength seems to have increased since this decision was made; I think he’s quite happy.

Currently, Helibee still photographs the world below as his job. He can either use the cameras built into him or, to get a higher quality photo, he can hold his really big camera with his arms.

Helibee’s mechanical abilities are based on the Airbus BK117C1. In NSW, this model composes the fleet of Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopters.
